“The Point” is written as a tribute to young love and adventure inspired by the peaceful serenity and breathtaking views and landscapes nestled between the majestic bluffs of northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin along the mighty Mississippi River.

I remember as a teenager and young adult hanging with close friends and walking up the railroad tracks along the river bank to a favorite secluded fishing spot we all called “The Point”. It didn't really matter if the fish were biting because there was always good company, good conversation, and a feeling of togetherness.

“The Point” is my tribute to those great friends, good times, and wonderful memories.
